Closure & Frontal Aftercare Guidelines
To maintain the quality, appearance, and longevity of your closures and frontals, please follow the aftercare instructions below:
•Avoid excessive pulling, scratching, or tension around the lace area.
•Wash only with mild, sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner.
•Do not apply excessive glue, gel, or heavy styling products directly onto the lace.
•Always use low heat when styling and apply a heat protectant beforehand.
•Gently remove glue and product residue to prevent lace thinning or tearing.
•Allow the unit to air-dry or gently pat dry after washing.
•Store your unit on a wig stand or mannequin head when not in use.
•Sleep with a silk or satin bonnet or scarf to minimize friction and shedding.
•Schedule regular maintenance appointments to preserve lace quality and extend the lifespan of the unit.
Important Installation & Wear Guidelines
Proper installation, removal, and rest periods are essential to protecting the lace and ensuring long-term use:
•Closures and frontals should not be glued down continuously for extended periods, as prolonged wear may weaken the lace and cause damage.
•We recommend wearing closures or frontals for a maximum of 7 days at a time, after which they should be safely removed.
•Thoroughly clean both your scalp and the lace unit before any reinstallation.
•Allow the unit to rest between installs before reapplying glue or adhesive.
•Proper removal techniques and scheduled breaks between installs help maintain lace integrity and significantly extend the product’s lifespan.
